No. CivilPlanAI is a decision-support tool, not a licensed engineering service. It surfaces issues, flags inconsistencies, and drafts findings — but every finding requires your review. The licensed engineer of record approves, edits, or rejects each item and retains full professional responsibility for the final work product.
Our current focus is civil engineering, where our four AI reviewers are purpose-built for the workflows, codes, and plan types civil firms work with every day. Your plan sets are retained for the duration of your active account. When you close your account, all uploaded documents are permanently deleted within 90 days. You can also request earlier deletion at any time by contacting hello@civilplanai.com. We will confirm deletion in writing.
Never. Your uploaded plan sets and review output are logically isolated to your organization — no other user or firm can access them. Your plans are never used to train AI models for other organizations. For full details, see our Data Processing Agreement.

Each review produces a structured report with findings pinned to the specific sheet and location where the issue was identified. Every finding includes a description of the issue, a relevant code or standard reference where applicable, and a confidence level. You work through the findings one by one — accepting, editing, or rejecting each — before incorporating them into your workflow.
